IRONS, IRIS MAY (born Roberts) May 18,1938 - Nov. 24, 2025 Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Iris passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, David Irons (2020), she was a loving mother to Dave (Karen), Darrell (Viki), and Randy (Sophia), devoted grandmother to Kasandra, David-Paul (Emilie), Iliana, Stefanie, Scotland, Elias, Athan, Calix, and Anesa, and great-grandmother to Lexa. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Iris and Dave raised their family in Fabreville, spending weekends and summers at the family cottage in Rawdon, where they settled after Dave’s retirement. A quiet, steady presence, Iris loved nature and shared this passion with her family, spending countless hours walking the woods, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing well into her mid-80s. Her annual scavenger hunts in the woods and the many board games played together around the kitchen table remain treasured family memories. Deeply committed to community, Iris was involved in the Women’s Institute, courtesy meals, bridge club, and the Rawdon Patchwork Guild, where she enjoyed both the craft and the companionship of her fellow quilters. A talented watercolour artist, her local landscapes and floral works will continue to remind us of her gentle spirit. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be announced in Spring 2026. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at CHSLD Heather for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Quebec Women’s Institute or a Rawdon charity of your choice. Forever loved, forever remembered
