Joyce Hughes (White)

HUGHES (WHITE), Joyce 1932-2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Hughes (White)  on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at the age of 91. Joyce will be missed by her children Glenn (Margo), Scott (Debbie), her grandkids Kevin, Samantha, Jason, Christopher. Her extended family in Rawdon and her cherished friends. Joyce was a strong lady even during her end of life, always fighting for one more day to enjoy with her visitors. Her love of family, travel and sports were her focus. Joyce supported her boys in all their sports. Always being their biggest fan! That continued with her grandkids. Joyce was always seen in the stands yelling “SUGAR!!” at the refs. Or driving her granddaughter to ballet and watching with pride as she took the stage. But let’s not forget, Joyce was always a backer for her home teams!! The family invites you to a celebration of life at the Royal Canadian Legion (28 Rue Saint-Anne, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue) on Sunday, September 29, 2024 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
