Wayne Montgomery

On Sunday March 2nd, 2025, Wayne Montgomery passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends, while his loved ones waited for him on the other side to welcome him. Wayne was 67 years young, born August 15, 1957. A lifelong creator of chaos and lover of life, Wayne was well-loved in his small town of Rawdon; however, his spirit was fiercely felt in all rooms he entered no matter the location. Wayne was the father of 1 child, and godfather to all. He was a kind, thoughtful and sensitive soul that was an unwavering warrior when it came to those he cared about.  He is a cherished son, brother, friend, uncle, cousin and most importantly, husband and father. Wayne was predeceased by his beloved parents, James (Jim) Montgomery and cherished Mom (Dorothy Beale Montgomery), His brother-in-law’s, Bobby and René. Wayne is survived by the love his life, Nancy, and his precious daughter, Samantha. He remains a key member of the Montgomery 5: Gail, Sandy, Wayne, Lisa and Jim (Emily) and an adopted member of the Tinkler 6: Leonard, Allan (Claudette), Nancy, Jimmy (Lyne), Lori (Nick), and Melissa (Dan). Countless grieving nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends. The torch of life that shone brilliantly will be carried on by all he cherished. While Wayne’s family grieves his loss, they are choosing to remember Wayne in a way that honors his unconquering spirit later this summer.
