Christine Asselin

Christine Asselin 1948 - 2026 Christine passed away surrounded by her close family in the evening of April 30th after a battle with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by her husband Rene Ruel, she is succeeded by her sister Carol (Fred), son Allan (Tanya) and daughter Renee (Douglas). She will be missed by all nieces, nephews and mostly by her grandchildren Chloe, Sabrina and Sebastien for which she loved and cared for each very dearly. She was diagnosed with a very serious illness at the young age of 12 but beat all odds and managed to live a full and happy life. She had the opportunity of watching her grandchildren grow to young adults. We will always remember her most beautiful smile. Those wishing to make a donation on her behalf may direct it to the Fondation Groupe Santé Arbec on behalf of the CHSLD Heather who's staff were exceptional in providing her with the care and comfort that she needed during the last moments of her life. As per Christine's wishes a private cremation was held.
