Gordon (Bubsy) Rourke

Rourke, Gordon James (Bubsy) Jan. 22, 1925 – Apr. 4, 2021 Gordon passed away peacefully at the age of 96 in Rawdon, loving husband of all most 70 years to Shirley (nee Clayton), father of Randall (Donna), Jeffrey, Graham and Shawn (Dawn). Dear grandfather to Ryan, Justin (Lyndsay), Emma (Matt), Kristen (Anthony), Alison (Olivier), Owen, Charlotte and Avery. Great grandfather to Grace. He is survived by his sister Grace Smith of Lachute and pre-deceased by brothers Kenneth and Douglas. WWII veteran – RCAF flight sergeant, Lancaster bomber tail gunner and long-time ex-employee of Lister Locksmiths in Montreal. Thanks to all the staff at Les Jardins Rawdon. A graveside service will be held Sunday September 4th at Christ Church at 11 am.
