Heather Ann Arbec nee Mooney

Heather Ann Mooney Arbec passed away on Sunday surrounded by her family at the age of 83. She was a devoted mother to Donna Arbec (Randy), Debra Arbec (Gerald), Paul Arbec (Isabelle) and grandmother to Emma (Mathew), Kristen (Anthony), Alison (Anthony), Sarah (Alexis), Mikael, Jacob and great grandmother to Grace and Wyatt.  Mom was predeceased by our dearest Dad, Paul Arbec Sr and leaves behind her brother, Michael Mooney (Gail). Mom had an unwavering strength of character, a beautiful singing voice, and the deepest and most infectious belly laugh. As a shrewd partner, she helped our Dad build a successful business, which would become Groupe Santé Arbec. But, she would say her greatest accomplishment was her family.  Fiercely supportive, generous and empathetic, her greatest gift to us was… her time.  “Sit,” she’d say, “I’ll make a cup of tea”.   She was our keel through our darkest moments and our cheerleader during our biggest achievements. We will miss her dearly. We’d like to thank the extraordinary nurses, personal attendants, kitchen, laundry and cleaning services at CHSLD Heather in Rawdon for their care and kindness over the last three years. Merci énormément aux infirmières, infirmières auxiliaires, préposés aux bénéficiaires, les services de ménage, buanderie et alimentaires pour vos soins extraordinaires et bienveillants. A service will take  place on Friday 14 of March  at 2  P.M. from  St. Patrick's church, 3759 rue Queen, with an interment to follow. Visitation will be held at White and sons 3555 rue Metcalfe, Rawdon J0K 1S0 on Friday 14 of March from 10 AM to 2 PM
